I call it Cultural Access Lab because it brings together close observation, thoughtful interpretation, and lived reality.
My training in biology taught me how to understand complex systems; my background in education and community building enabled me to learn how to translate them clearly; and my life as a traveler taught me what it feels like to arrive somewhere new, and that how we experience a place shapes who we become within it.

Before trying to integrate into a city, it’s important to learn how to perceive it… because understanding its dynamics, histories, and social codes is what turns presence into meaningful belonging.
Cultural Access Lab is where a relationship with Mexico City is cultivated through attention and understanding. A place for approaching the city not as a backdrop to consume, but as a living system to observe, interpret, and engage in with intention and depth.

"I live in Spain, and for me, Mexico City is a fascinating world unto itself, possessing cultural nuances that no book or guidebook could ever explain. Touring with Atenea radically transformed our trip; we stopped being mere tourists and became true travelers, immersing ourselves in Mexico’s vibrant world of colors and flavors in a way we never could have otherwise"
